LEUNG Angel梁安琦

Angel Leung (b. 1986) is a curator and art project manager from Hong Kong. With a Bachelor of Creative Media from City University of Hong Kong and a Master of Research in Screen Art from Université de Strasbourg, she has devoted her career to exploring art in screen and digital culture.
Leung specialises in fostering cross-sector collaborations between art and technology, with a particular focus on investigating new technologies within the screen and digital realm. Her work emphasises innovative representations of females and the Asian diaspora.
Her curatorial portfolio includes significant performances and exhibitions such as “Lullabies”, “Foundation: A Web3 Media Art Festival”, “Micromégas”, and “Ersilia: Body of the Gateway Cities”, alongside programmes at prestigious institutions including Art Basel, Loop Barcelona, ACMI, and Centre Pompidou. As an adjunct curator at Videotage, she co-produces residencies and incubation programmes with international partners including FACT Liverpool, Film London, Near Now, Cneai=, Platform Asia, and the Creative Industry Fund NL.
Her project management expertise has contributed to successful programmes at SOGO HK, M+, and New Vision Festival. As a film programmer and enthusiast, she has organised notable events at Broadway Cinematheque, including the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival and Agnès Varda Retrospective.
Beyond her curatorial and project management work, Leung contributes as a researcher and writer. She co-edited David Lynch (Kubrick, 2017) and contributed to Dictionnaire des cinémas chinois (Hemispheres editions, 2019).
