Along with the gratifying return of Clockenflap, Videotage is proud to present (RE)HABITATION, a visually astonishing journey into artists’ mental imagery of local cityscapes, and their attempts to reconfigure/reconstruct collective spatial memories through cutting-edge imaging techniques.
This screening program brings together novel and diverse video works by six acclaimed and new-generation artists across a wide spectrum of genres and techniques, such as large-scale 3D scanning of streetscapes, CGI rendering on alternative environments, and musicality in geometry and architecture.
隨著 Clockenflap 的回歸，錄影太奇將於今年呈獻 (RE)HABITATION 「太虛（擬）幻鄉」，帶領觀眾走進一段變幻無窮的視覺藝術旅程。藝術家們透過前瞻的成像技術呈現層次豐富的城市景觀意象，重構及轉化多元的集體空間記憶。
是次放映選取六部來自本地及國際藝術家的影像作品，創作內容涵蓋不同類型和表現手法，包括街景的3D掃描，以電腦成像塑造的虛擬環境，以及強調幾何圖形與建築中的節奏韻律。
