Pure Color is a commentary on television media in Hong Kong – colorful, fast, unstable, and superficial. It is also an exercise of introspective interrogation through the converter lens, which in turn is viewed through the camera. Converting a reality that defies all representation, a reality that is based on manual instrumental means, a series of action and reaction that carries no intention or high hopes, a mediated reality.
