In the Old Testament, God’s appearances are often accompanied by clouds, fire and smoke. Such elements when placed in an urban context might evoke images of catastrophe or social unrest. If God is to reveal Himself in modern-day Hong Kong, how will He do so, and will we be able to tell who He is?

Kaho Albert Yu is an animation and new media artist whose works often employ computer graphics, photography and digital technology. Over the past 20 plus years, Kaho has also been a software engineer, a technical director for feature animation films including Shrek 2 and the Ice Age series, an assistant professor at the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong, and a bicycle workshop owner.
