about the artist /
Alice Wong (1989, Amsterdam) is a Hong Kong–based story designer. Raised in Hong Kong and trained in Information Design at Design Academy Eindhoven, where she graduated in 2015, she has developed a practice that explores how information structures shape our perception of reality. Over the past thirteen years, she has worked extensively in the Netherlands across cultural, academic, and institutional contexts, collaborating with museums, biennales, and design schools. In 2020, she was awarded the Young Design Talent Award (YDTA), which supported her return to Hong Kong, where she is now based.
Her projects create frameworks that encourage reflection, dialogue, and new possibilities to emerge. At the core of her practice is a commitment to bridging design, people, and systems through storytelling.
