The Videotage edition of D-Normal / V-Essay is now online!
Steering the video zine open call for the first time, Videotage has received 480 entries from creators around the world. These tiny voices have accumulated to create a grand ocean full of narratives.
A physical showcase will be hosted in Videotage till late July. The public is welcome to select and appreciate works from the selected entries of this edition. Whether online or offline, we invite everyone to participate in whatever format they prefer.
A huge thank you to the creators and jurors for making the video zine possible.
“Confronted with a tapestry of themes and audiovisual techniques, the vast sea of information weaved in the video essays often makes us feel as though we are on a boat, guided by the creators. Each work is a unique voyage of its own, unfolding, from 00:00 until the final frame, in its own curious way.”
“Here, the speed of your voyage is never the priority; your presence and your willingness to step beyond algorithmic recommendations to explore the unfamiliar are what we treasure most.”
《平地數碼：錄映太奇特刊》現已推出！
本次是錄映太奇首次主理《平地》的公開徵集，從全球各地的創作者一共收集 480 件精彩作品，眾聲相積成論述的浩瀚汪洋。
即日起至 7 月 26 日，錄映太奇將舉辦「自選影院」。觀眾可在我們的展覽空間內，隨心挑選精選作品欣賞。不論線上或線下，皆歡迎觀眾以自己喜愛的形式參與。
錄像雜誌得以順利推出，有賴各位創作者的踴躍參與和評審的敏銳視角，特此致謝。
「面對紛呈的題材及聲影手法，汪洋般的資訊讓我們彷彿隨創作者掌舵航行。每件作品都是一段獨特的旅程，由好奇促發，隨時間軸 00:00 展開，至尾段終結。」
