The film explores the geography of alienation across urban spaces, traversing private spheres of people who are struggling to express themselves and to be known, yet are bound together by collective moments of yearning.

Mufasa Yu (b.1999, Hong Kong) graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts of Hong Kong Baptist University in 2021. He is an artist, animator and filmmaker currently based in Hong Kong.
Marked by elements of expressionism and surrealism that eschew the traditional narrative, Mufasa’s worlds fluctuate between turbulence, loneliness, and belonging, transcending their chaos and separation to reveal the cosmic grandiosity of the human experience.
