In the video, John, a pathologist, presents a series of slideshow images that document the bodily conditions of HIV and AIDS patients. The source material was later re-edited, with self-composed music (AMK) added to the piece. Produced thirty years ago, the work stands as an early experiment in merging music video (the then-emerging genre) with documentary-style practice.
