A video with screen spliting into 4 frames, each shows a pair of hands folding a paper flower. A photo of public demonstration is printed on the papers. A year is assigned to three of the frames at the end of the video: 1989, 1997 and 2003, each indicates a monumental political incident – the Tiananmen protest in 1989, the handover of Hong Kong to China in 1997, and the July 1st rally which began in 2003. With the last frame not showing any year, it displays an uncertainty of political future from the artist’s point of view.
