SHAM Ka Ho, Bobby沈嘉豪

biography /

Sham is the vice-chairman of Cattle Depot Artist Village and one of the directors of Videotage. He obtained his BA degree in Graphic Design (Audio-visual) from the School of Design, H K Polytechnic University in 1987. He had held two solo exhibitions: “Bob-Pin Series —a Pin-Hole Photography Show” (1995), sponsored by Goethe-Institut HK and the HK Arts Development Council (HKADC); “Bob-Pin Series 2.0—Vague Memories” (1998), sponsored by HKADC. He has participated in various international group shows: ”Kina, Kina, Kina: Contemporary Photograph From China, Hong Kong and Taiwan”; Aarhus Festival, at Center for Photography, Scandinavian Center, Aarhus, Denmark, 1995; “New China New Zealand”, New Zealand International Festival of the Arts, 1996; “Hong Kong Contemporary Photography 1997”, presented by Luna Arts Inc N Y and OP fotogallery, Canada. He has also participated in video work screening: “Coffee 101” for Arts Festival 8888, presented by the Hong Kong Arts Centre and Videotage, 1999; “Open the Locker” for the Video Circle program entitled “Centrafugal Vision”, presented by the HKUST Center for the Arts, 2000. He has also worked as a producer for ‘Afterhours”, a series of mid night video art programs produced by Videotage and showing on ATV in 2002. Recently he is the chairman of organizing committee of the Cattle Depot Summer Days and Nights Arts Festival (2003).
