This compilation features works by 10 local video artists. It captures the burdensome anxiety of the end of British colonial rule, which cause shockwaves that were felt throughout the wider landscape of daily life in Hong Kong. The transition of Hong Kong from a colonial to a post-colonial city has been critical to the development of the city and its people. Evidence of this can be seen through this selection of single-channel video that spans the years from 1990 to 1998. While the reunification may have induced trauma and/or liberation, these experiences, as the titles suggest, have expired.

本作品集收錄了十位本地錄像藝術家對後殖民統治的憂慮。香港由殖民主義統治過渡到後殖民主義，對於整個城市及香港人都有決定性的影響，從這輯由1990至1998年創作的單頻道錄像作品可見一斑。雖然回歸可能引發著的創傷和解放情緒，但這經驗一如題目所說都過期了。
