CHOW Ka Nin, Kenny

biography /

Kenny K. N. Chow is currently a lecturer in the School of Design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He obtained a Ph.D. in Digital Media at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2010, an M.F.A. degree from the City University of Hong Kong in 2007, and a M.Sc. degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2002. His research interests include digital visual culture, generative art, interactive narrative, film, and animation. He has extensive practical experience in motion graphic design, animation, and film production over ten years. He is also an independent filmmaker. His latest works include Sword, Pigeon, and Bicycle, which was selected as the Opening Guest Film at the Osaka Asian Film Festival 2006 and included in the Hong Kong Panorama Section of the thirty-first Hong Kong International film Festival. Another work Play Again, as a part of the collaborative film The Moon, was selected in the sixth Hong Kong Asian Film Festival 2009.
