After months of preparation and communication, the Videotage Media Art Collection (VMAC) Kiosk will debut on 18 October (Saturday)! Supported by Design Trust Seed Grant, the kiosk is an initiative to upcycle our old furniture into a mobile archive viewing space.

The launch ceremony will take place at 5 pm, at Videotage’s Cattle Depot venue. Zou-mat, the design collaborator, will share insights into their design process. Aside from reconstructing items from our history, we also aim to expand our screening environment beyond Cattle Depot, through the kiosk’s transportable design.

Due to heritage maintenance work, we will vacate Unit 13 in November 2025, with plans to return in March 2026. The VMAC kiosk will continue to promote our archive during this ‘nomadic’ phase – watch this space to find out where the kiosk will go next!

經過幾個月來的籌備和溝通，「錄映太奇庫藏放映站」將於 2025 年 10 月 18 日（六）正式登場！本計劃由信言設計大使種籽資助計劃贊助，旨在重新利用錄映太奇多年來累積的舊傢俬，建造一個專為觀看庫藏片段而設的流動放映站。

我們將於下午5時，假牛棚藝術村會址舉行放映站啓動禮。屆時將會邀請合作設計團隊「造物」，分享改造舊傢俬的過程和放映站的設計理念。除了拆解並重構錄映太奇的歷史，我們亦希望藉放映站的移動式設計，延伸放映場域到牛棚以外。

因應古蹟維護工程，錄映太奇將於 2025 年 11 月暫別 13 號單位，並預計於 2026 年 3 月重返。放映站將於我們接下來的「游牧」日子，繼續推廣VMAC庫藏，請密切留意它的行蹤！
