Dreams are a complex interaction between our bodies, minds, memories, and experiences. Is it possible for something so tied to our nature be possible for a machine? During his residency, Ben Bogart will bring us “Dreaming Machine #2” which is an installation that actively explores the visual context in which it is installed. Its experience is collected and integrated using an artificial intelligence and a cognitive model of human creativity. During the day, the work examines its context and stimulus from the visual context inspires day dreams through its experience. At night the work freely associates elements of its experience and presents them to the audience.
