ChoP is a new music culture exchange project,which is founded by Chinese experimental musician,
Zen Lu and Polish sound artist,Grzegorz Bojanek three years ago, involving ten artists from China
and Poland. Four albums have been released. Despite the live show the cofounder Zen Lu had participated
in with Grezegorz Bojanek during the visit to Poland in June 2007, collaberations between the other
musicians are all via internet. From 1st to 13th June 2009, Gregorz Bojanek will visit China with another
two Polish artists (Minoo,Nejmano) who have been involved in the ChoP, planning to hold 7 concerts with
other Chinese artists (Zen Lu,KLC_NIR,Dickson Dee, Sin:Ned) who have been invloved in Chop also.
This "ChoP: WEF on Tour in China" is sponsored by Warsaw Electronic Music Festival and Shenzhen based
We Play! Records.

About ChoP:
ChoP is a new musical duo consisting of Chinese experimental musician, sound artist Zen Lu and Polish
experimental musician Grzegorz Bojanek. Their method of composing is mainly by means of transferring
and exchanging music samples over the internet, and treatment afterwards. The album reflects the exploration
of differences in experimental music between sound artists of two different cultures and societies. The first
album of ChoP, titled .. is just released. ChoP is not a one-off project between Zen Lu and Grzegorz only.
Each ChoP album is planned to invite different artists from two countries to appear in this series of future
releases. Dickson Dee,Hong Kong experimental musician and Tomasz Pauszek(rnd),Polish electronic musician,
have been invited to join in thecomposition of "Chop–Vol2",which will be released on March 2008. also,we have
invited Sin:Ned(Hong Kong) and Minoo(Poland) to join to ChoP vol.3,KLC_NIR(China) and Nejmano(Ploand)
join to ChoP vol.4.

ChoP 是一個新音樂跨國合作交流計劃，由中國深圳實驗樂手陸正(Zen Lu)和波蘭樂手Grzegorz Bojanek(aka Eta Carinae)
創建，至今已有三年時間，共有10位中國和波蘭樂手參加，共出版4張唱片。除了發起人Zen Lu曾於2007年6月訪問波蘭期間與
Grzegorz Bojanek進行過現場演出之外，其他樂手之間的交流與合作均通過網絡，2009年6月1日至13日，Grzegorz Bojanek
將帶領其他兩位參加ChoP的波蘭藝術家(Minoo,Nejmano)來到中國，與參加過ChoP的中國樂手(Zen Lu,KLC_NIR,Dickson
Dee, Sin:Ned)在中國的6座城市舉行7場音樂會，這次名為“ChoP: WEF on Tour in China”的巡演由華沙電子音樂節和深圳
音樂廠牌We Play! Records聯合主辦。

關於ChoP:
ChoP是由中國實驗電子樂手、聲音藝術家陸正(Zen Lu)與波蘭實驗音樂家Grzegorz Bojanek共同發起的新音樂跨國合作交流項目，
通過網絡傳輸的方式相互傳遞素材進行創作，體現出兩種不同文化背景、不同社會形態下兩國前衛音樂家對於實驗音樂、聲音藝術的
探索與碰撞。 ChoP vol.1 <over a foul line,simple quesitons>已經出版，ChoP不僅僅局限於Zen Lu和Grzegorz之間的創作，
他們在每一系列出版中均邀請一位中國和波蘭藝術家加入創作，香港實驗音樂家Dickson Dee和波蘭電子音樂家Tomasz Pauszek
(RND)共同創作ChoP vol.2，並於2008年2月出版發行了唱片ChoP vol.2 <8 Rooms>；同樣來自香港的Sin:Ned和波蘭的Minoo
共同創作了ChoP vol.3<Improvision>，現已出版。參加ChoP vol.4的藝術家為KLC_NIR(中國)和Nejmano（波蘭），他們的創
作<ChoP vol.4 SounDual>已於2009年3月出版。
