Mission
VIDEOTAGE is a non-profit making
body with the following objectives:
- To cultivate the interest in and promote the studies
on arts and culture among the general public through independent
film, video and new media making, seminars, workshops,
arts education programmes and publications.
- To organize exhibitions, publications, seminars, workshops,
courses, research or other interactive activities which
may be thought desirable for attainment of the Association's
objectives and to enter contacts, undertakings or arrangements
for the promotion of the Association's objectives and
activities.
- To co-operate with any association in any way which
the Association or the board shall think proper and to
enter into any agreement or arrangement with such associations
in furtherance of the Association's objectives but not
otherwise. Videotage is a vital link in presenting the
arts to a broader community. Videotage's programs are
supported by gifts and donations from individuals, corporations
and government agencies (Hong Kong Arts Development Council),
as well as from membership contributions. There is no
membership or registration fee for being a member of Videotage.
